General Information

Why are you changing the site?

Guests from Hong Kong and Taiwan will now be served from the Disney Store Japan website from 18 November 2025. This change means that guests will also be able to purchase selected products from the Disney Store Japan collection, shipping directly from Japan.

When will the transition happen?

You will be able to start placing orders on the Disney Store Japan website from 18 November 2025 onwards.

Will the Disney Store HK and Disney Store TW sites still work?

The Disney Store Hong Kong and Disney Store Taiwan sites will continue to support orders up until 29 December 2025. Any orders placed on this site up until 29 December 2025 will be shipped and fulfilled.

What’s different on the Disney Store Japan site? How does the Disney Store Japan site work?

You will be able to shop directly from the Disney Store Japan website, including selected products from the Disney Store Japan collection. The checkout and shipping process will be facilitated by a third-party service provider – Buyee.
Buyee will purchase the products from Disney Store Japan on your behalf, and all transactions (including payment, shipment, delivery, returns and refunds) will occur solely between Buyee and yourself.
Instructions on how to Add to Cart and complete purchases will be provided on-site via a pop-up window at the bottom of the screen that follows your navigation on site.
Please take note that payments are divided into two instalments – 1) The first one for the item price, purchase fee and other charges, and 2) The second one for international shipping fees and other charges. Detailed information can be found here (Buyee Cart Usage Fees ｜ Buyee)
Note: The Disney Store Japan website will be available in local language only, but the pop-up instructions will be available in English/Traditional Chinese to guide international Guests on their purchases.

 

Here is what to expect
After visiting the Disney Store Japan website, international Guests will follow the shopping process below, which is handled entirely by a third-party service provider, Buyee. If Guests have any questions, please contact the Buyee team directly here

• Guests add products to cart via the Buyee pop-up window, requesting for a proxy purchase.
• Proceed to the checkout screen from the Buyee shopping cart and make payment.
• Guests will receive an order confirmation email after placing this proxy purchase request.
• Buyee will purchase the items from Disney Store Japan on behalf of the Guests, and Guests will receive a second email notifying them on the completion of the proxy purchase.
• After the order arrives at Buyee’s warehouse in Japan, Guests will receive a third email notifying them to make a secondary payment upon selecting the international shipping method, together with instructions to complete the payment.
• Once the secondary payment for the international shipping from Japan to Hong Kong or Taiwan has been completed, Guest will receive a fourth email confirming Buyee’s receipt of the secondary payment.
• Buyee will arrange for the international delivery to the Guest’s address overseas. Once the order has been shipped, Guests will receive a final email with notification on the shipment tracking number and details.
• If payment for any duties and/or taxes are required, Guests will be informed to make payment directly to the international shipping carrier before the package is released to them.

Do I need to create a new account? If so, what happens to my existing account?

Disney Store is part of The Walt Disney Companies.
If you have created a Disney account with us previously, your account will be preserved on MyDisney, which lets you seamlessly log into services and experiences across The Walt Disney Family of Companies, such as Disney+, ESPN, Walt Disney World, and more.

 

Orders & Purchases:

What happens to my existing orders?

Any orders placed on the Disney Store Hong Kong and Disney Store Taiwan sites up until 29 December 2025 will be shipped and fulfilled. For any assistance needed for these orders, Guests may contact us here.
Orders placed on Disney Store Japan from 18 November 2025 will be shipped and fulfilled directly from Japan. For any assistance needed for these orders, Guests may contact the Buyee team here.

Will I still be able to see my past orders?

Yes – you may check the status of orders placed up until 29 December 2025 here.

What are the additional charges that may be incurred during the purchase process?

Please refer to the Buyee cart for details on the product price, as well as any other additional charges that may be incurred during your purchase. These include, but are not limited to, international shipping fees, purchase fee, guarantee plan, and other optional services depending on your decision during the purchase process. Am I eligible for Disney Store (Japan) Club Membership benefits?

The Disney Store Club membership is intended for guests residing in Japan. Registration requires a Japanese phone number and address. Online orders purchased through Buyee are not applicable to earn membership points or receive membership benefits.

 

Am I eligible for any free shipping promotions from Disney Store Japan?

Orders placed to Hong Kong or Taiwan Buyee are eligible for campaigns, discounts, and free shipping promotions where applicable (e.g. free domestic shipping within Japan if the order meets the indicated free shipping threshold, selected purchase-with-purchase and gift-with-purchase promotions), except for Disney Store Club member benefits.

Does Disney approve reseller operations/encourage reselling behaviour?

購物流程

瀏覽日本 Disney Store 官方網站後，海外顧客將依照下列步驟完成購物，所有流程均由第三方服務夥伴 Buyee 全權處理：

1. 透過 Buyee 彈出視窗將商品加入購物車，提交代購申請。 

2. 自 Buyee 購物車頁面進入結帳畫面並完成首次付款。 

3. 系統將寄出訂購確認電子郵件。 

4. Buyee 將代表顧客向日本 Disney Store 購買商品，並寄出第二封電子郵件確認已完成代購作業。 

5. 商品抵達 Buyee 日本倉庫後，顧客將收到第三封電子郵件，提示選擇國際運送方式並完成第二次付款。 

6. 完成第二次付款（國際運費）後，顧客將收到第四封付款確認電子郵件。 

7. Buyee 將安排商品透過國際運送至顧客的海外地址 ，並於商品寄出後寄發最終通知信件，內含追蹤編號及運送資訊。 

8. 若包裹需繳納關稅或其他稅費，承運業者將於包裹放行前通知顧客直接付款。
